Wednesday, May 17 (YMCA)
•Nabisunsa Vs UCU Lady Canons – 6:30pm
•Power Vs KCCA Panthers – 8:30pm
Power will be seeking for a second win in a row when they take on KCCA Panthers on Wednesday at YMCA Court in Wandegeya in the National Basketball League.
Power come into this fixture on the back of a 74-52 win over JKL Dolphins, a result that snapped their recent poor run that had seen the side lose six games in a row.
And coach Timothy Odeke will hope that his side has turned the corner and can build from their JKL win.
This, is Power’s penultimate game of the first round before they take on Our Saviour.
The five-time winners are seventh on the table, with three wins from nine games.
They have got to be more aggressive inside the paint at both ends if they are to pick maximum points.
KCCA have done slightly better than Power so far, bossing with four wins in nine games.
They come into this fixture on the back of a 70-48 victory over Rezlife Saints.
And coach Brian Wathum will hope his side can avenge his side’s defeats last season having lost to Power 51-55 and 65-70 in the regular season last year.
Salim Kisilu, formerly at Power, will be the key to player for KCCA – He is averaging 10 points and 9 rebounds this season.
