Patrice Cateron resigns as Zamalek SC Head Coach.

Milutin S. Micho ( a former Cranes Coach ) predecessor French-born Coach, Patrice Carteron has resigned from his post as Zamalek SC Head Coach and paid his $250,000 release clause in his contract and destined for greener pastures elsewhere.

The 50 year old coach joined Zamalek FC in December 2019 on short six month contract before extended it for more one year and was set to end in 2021 and guided Zamalek SC to victory of CAF super Cup against Esperance de Tunis, the fourth the club and the Egyptian cup.

Patrice Carteron holds a  meeting with the board headed by club chairman Mortada Mansour before tendering in his resignation.

This comes after Knights registering a 2-1 win over  Haras El Hadood  and leaves them in second position.

Carteron has been in charge of Zamalek SC to a tune of 29 games, posting 17 wins, 10 draws and 2 losses.

He won the 2015 CAF Champions league with TP Mazembe, has had stints with Al Ahly, Raja Casablanca, Mali and  Al Nasr.

Patrice is reportedly  heading to South Africa with Kaizer Chiefs since their Head Coach fell vacant after sacking Middendorp
