Uganda Premier League outfit and Arua based club, Ondupraka FC have named experienced coach, Haruna Mawa as next head coach.
The club confirmed on their social media platforms that the former Somalia national team head coach signed a one year renewable contract.
“Onduparaka Football Club would like to announce the appointment Haruna Mawa as Head Coach on one year contract. He previously managed teams like Doves All Stars, Somalia National Team, Uganda U20, KCCA FC Junior Team, SC Victoria University among others.” Reads club statement.
Mawa replaces George Lutalo who is currently the head coach women’s senior national football team head coach, but midway the season he was sacked and replaced by Dudu Bosco on interim basis until the end of last season.
Ondupraka FC only managed a 9th position on a 16 team table.
