Arua based Uganda Premier League club, Onduparaka FC have confirmed the extension of their partnership with leading Telecommunication company MTN Uganda.
MTN sponsored Onduparaka FC in their debut season of 2016/17 and it grew into partnership the following season till now at the time of it’s unveiling.
The details of contract were not revealed to the fourth estate.
“We are honoured to renew our partnership with MTN Uganda, a sponsorship that we have enjoyed over the past 4 years. We are honoured that at such a time as this where the footballing sector has been affected that MTN has chosen to still continue with the Partnership with Onduparaka Football Club.” reads part of the club statement. “We’ve since moved from Sponsorship to Partnership because there’s alot more that is mutually beneficial for us as Onduparaka Football Club and also for MTN Uganda. we are happy that the partnership comes at a time when we are getting back to the footballing season to complete the remaining rounds and we are looking forward to using this partnership to motivate our Performance even on the pitch and also to give MTN a value for the generosity they’ve extended towards Onduparaka FC.”
Onduparaka FC has as well unveiled their new kit they are going to use this season.
“We’ve also not today just renewed our partnership but also given our stakeholders a first look at our season’s jerseys which is Themed around our season’s theme Embracing Our Heritage which is reflecting at our 10 years Journey and looking at what has made us who we are which is a representation of all of that and MTN and our fans are represented on the Jersey.”
