Betpawa Fufa Big League and Mbale based club, Mbale Heroes Football Club have unveiled Asaph Mwebaze as their next head coach of the 2023/24 season.

“Asaph brings a wealth of experience to our side, having led Bright Stars to the Uganda Cup semi-finals and a commendable ninth-place finish in the Uganda Super League last season. Prior to that, he achieved remarkable success with Maroons Football Club, guiding them to the Super League on multiple occasions.”
Asaph replaces coach Abbey Kikomeko who guided team back the second tire league before joining Bul FC.
He brings a vast experience in the circle having worked with top flight league clubs before with the likes of Maroons FC, Onduparaka FC and recently Soltilo Bright Stars FC.
Asaph joins a highly ambitious club with their main target a head of the new season to earn promotion directly to top flight league.
Mbale Heroes will kick start their campaign in Big League as they host their bitter rivals Kataka Mbale FC on 26th September, 2023 at Mbale Municipal stadium.
