Niger FA set to name French Jean Michel Cavalli as next Head Coach.

The football governing body in Niger Federation Niger Football (FENIFOOT) is set to unveil French born Coach Jean Michel Cavalli as Menas Head Coach (Men’s Football National team).

Jean Michel arrived in Niamey on Sunday 27th September 2020, at Diaoni Hamoni International Airport a head of the  move.

Federation Niger Football has already agreed personal terma with French man to replace the Jean Guy Walleme who was sacked after poor run of results.

Jean Michel’s immediate task is to organise the Team to return back to success and at least perform better in the African Cup of Nations Qualifiers games were they are trailing at the bottom of group K without a point from two round matches played.

Niger is in group K along side group leader, Madagascar with Maximum points (6), following Ethiopia (3) in second position and Ivory Coast (3) in third place.

Jean Michel comes with his vast knowledge of Coaching on African football and national team.

The 63 year old former Monaco FC Midfielder, has previously handled teams like Al Ittihad Alexandra, UMS Alger, Al Hilal Club, Wydad Casablanca, Lille (France), Algeria (national team 2005) and his last job was at MC Oran last year in Algeria.

Niger is set to host host a 4 nation tournament between 5-10 next month october were by Niger will be expected to fill two teams with Chad and Mauritania also expected to grace the tourney.
