Nicolas Wadada In, as Mtibwa sugar ends Azam FC 10 match unbeaten run.

Uganda Cranes right wing back, Nicolas Wadada played the whole game as Azam FC’s 10 match unbeaten run came to an end yesterday at  hands of  Mtibwa sugar FC at Jamhuri Stadium.

Jaffar Kibaya solely scored the only goal that made the difference on the day when he launched a power shot just outside an 18 yard with his sweet left foot that beat Azam FC’S Custodian David Mapigano to put Mtibwa sugar in the lead in 62 minutes.

Before the game, Azam FC had made seven straight wins out of  the seven opening games of 2020/21 season games and the unbeaten run could stretch back to the previous season with three games.

And the last time that Azam did lose a league game,  was against the same Mtibwa sugar (1-0) on 15th July 2020.

Young Africans remains the only club not lose a game, this season mainland league from seven games they have played, positioned in 2nd place on 19 points and 2 points below table leaders Azam with a game in hand.

Azam FC’s next game will be against JKT Tanzania on 1-11-2020.

Nicolas Wadada’s compatriot Boban Ziruntusa  who plays for Mtibwa sugar didn’t make an 18 man squad for the them.
