Nicolas ‘Nick’ Kithuku Mwendwa yesterday 17th October was re-elected as Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President for next four years.
Before the elections, the Sports Dispute Tribunal had cancelled the elections twice before giving it a go head on Friday and were held yesterday at Safari Park Hotel Nairobi in a elective special general meeting.
Nick Mwendwa Garnered 77 votes out of 85 and his closet opponent Lordvick Aduda managed 5 votes and Herbert Mwachiro collected 3 votes.
Renown Journalist Boniface Osano and Dan Mule had no vote.
“I am happy and relieved this process is finished. I appreciate those of you who have walked the whole journey with us. I am now the football president of everyone and wish to say here that I am ready to work with all of you to improve the standards of the game,” excited Mwendwa told the media after victory.
