On 10/08/2020, Express Football Club unveiled goalkeeper Cryspus Kusiima from Tooro United FC as their first signing in the ongoing transfer window as they get prepared for the forthcoming 2020/21season.
Kusiima inked a two year contract with the six times league Champions that will see him play for them until 2022.
Cryspus Kusiima attributes to brand of Express FC which lured him to sign with them as he targets18 cleansheets and top three league finish with the club next season.
“I joined Express FC because of its big brand and the target is to create as many cleansheets in my case am looking at 18 because I know if I archive that, we shall be in the top three a position I want us to finish in as well.” Cryspus Kusiima told club website.
Kusiima is set to fight for a starting place with injury prone Mathius Muwanga but he is positive for healthy competition.
“I know I have joined a team with competitive players but healthy competition is a good thing and I also believe if we work as a unit, we shall win as a team.” He said.
Express FC finished 9th on 16 team table log with 37 points from 25 games.
