Vipers SC have made highly experienced forward Karim Ndugwa their second signing in the January transfer window.
He comes moments after the Venoms completed former Express FC winger Martin Kizza, who came in as their maiden signing.
Ndugwa penned down a two-year deal at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende following the expiry of his contract with BUL FC.
The 2021/22 Uganda Cup winner will have a chance to showcase his abilities in the CAF Champions League, and he’s raving to make it big.
“I am delighted and proud to have signed for such a huge club,” Ndugwa said to the club media on Tuesday.
“I am looking forward to starting the Uganda Premier League second round, CAF Champions League and hope we achieve great things together.”
Ndugwa will compete for a place in the team with the likes of Cromwel Rwothomio, Abubakar Lawal, Yunus Sentamu, Darcy Mbaka Kipoyi, and Kizza among others.
In the current Vipers squad, only Yunus Sentamu who has managed six league goals is the only one with more goals than Ndugwa who has five goals so far this campaign.
Previously, in his nomadic career, Ndugwa played for SC Villa, URA FC, Express FC, Wakiso Giants, Mbarara City FC, Victors FC, Onduparaka FC, AFC Leopards of Kenya and Horseed of Somalia.
