Ugandan referee, Nabadda Shamira selected to officiate at the 2022 Women African Cup of Nations in Morocco next month (July).
Nabadda is among 16 center referees who will in charge of over seeing the games.
16 assistant referees and 8 video assistant referees have been chosen from the 24 countries.
All the selected match officials will have a training
“This is a process that started a few years ago with 226 women match officials that were evaluated over this period – a product of CAF’s mission to improve the standard of match officiating in Africa and creating world class referees.” according to CAF statement .
The tournament kicks start on 2nd of July up to 23rd.
Uganda Crested Cranes will be making their debut in this year tournament.
