Moses Muhangi saddened with brutal demise of former Bombers captain.

The sports fraternity more especially ardent boxing followers on Wednesday morning woke upon the sad news of death of former Bombers captain, Isaac Zebra ‘Mando’ Ssenyange who was murdered by the unknown gunmen in the wee morning hours of Wednesday in his home Bwaise.

At the time of his death, Zebra Mando as fondly referred has been a right hand man to the current President of Uganda Boxing Federation, Moses Muhangi and has been working as head of general duties in the Federation.

Muhangi has used his Facebook account to express his feeling about the untimely death of his main man.

“Am saddened by the brutal passing of my man, my friend, my everything. Till we meet again. R.I.P Zebra Ssenyange Mando.” Muhangi wrote on his Facebook account.

Zebra captained the Bombers team that took part in the 2011 All African games which were organized in Muputo, Mozambique.

After, the following year 2012, the light heavyweight fighter turned professional and debuted against kenyan boxer Patrick Amote and won by unanimous decision.

Zebra won Abbey Kebedi by a Technical knockout last year (2019) and was his last fight as he had plans of returning to the ring soon but this didn’t come to witness.

Zebra Isaac Senyange attained the ‘Mando’ nick name because he was trained by the Amin Commandos and it has been his ring name.

Zebra Senyange has been a great admirer of Ayub Kasule a former Ugandan boxer and Sharif Bogere who is currently signed under the Mayweather promotions.

Besides Boxing, he liked playing ludo, pool during his free time and has been a staunch fan of English Premier club, Arsenal FC due to employing of the black players in their team.
