Shaban targets golden boot and CAF next Season.

Mohammad Shaban who spent the whole of last season nursing the knee ligament injury and has been working on his recovery but unfortunately there came outbreak of a Pandemic of Covid-19 that forced the games to be put on hold and eventually canceling the league.

Mohammad Shaban rejoined Vipers Sports Club last year on years contract towards the start of the new season with an injury after being released by Moroccan outfit Raja Casablanca.

While conducting an interview with www.Viprssc.com did reveal his targets come 2020/21 season with the venoms.

He targets a top scorer boot and CAF Champions league group stage having tasted d it while playing for KCCA FC in 2018.

“I want the top scorer gong of Uganda Premier League (UPL) and also help my team qualify for the group stages of the Caf Champions league, InsAllah.” Said Mohammed Shaban.

Shaban thinks his partnership with Bayo could be the best thing ever happen at Kitende, though Bayo had been unveiled by Israel topflight Club Ashod FC but no official communication from Vipers.

“Every player has his own impact on the team, Bayo was in good form and my return will also add imports upfront. Our partnership could be the best thing to ever happen at Kitende as long as we cooperate and work as a team.”

Shaban has not yet played under Kajoba Fred who was appointed as Golola Edward’s replacement mid way of the season but says the coach is advising him to be patient and keep working hard. Telling him to focus on his recovery.

On his fitness level and how will take him to return to full recovery.

“I can not really tell. But I know it won’t take me very long because I have been working overtime. I need a run out there to see how I will fare. The stages we are going to play at is tough and I need to help there in terms of fitness both Physically and Psychotically.” He added.

Mohammed had previously featured for Arua based club Onduparaka FC, KCCA FC and Raja Casablanca.
