Miya Farouk on double as Konyaspor upset table leaders, Istanbul B.

Uganda Cranes and Konyaspor forward bagged a brace as they made a comeback win against table leaders Istanbul Basaksehir in a seven goal thriller game at home on match day 32 of the Turkish Super league.

Miya Farouk levelled the game in 20th minute of game after Visca had converted a penalty in 3rd minute of the game to the visitors the lead.

Just after seven minutes after Miya appearing on scores sheet, Sahner added one to make it 2-1 before Miya Farouk completed his brace with one minute into half time to make it 3-1.

Returning into second half, Ba and Elia both scored for Istanbul in 70′, 77′ to level the game 3-3.

But Konyaspor regained the lead through Skubic in 85th minute to make it 4-3 until the final whistle.

Miya Farouk was booked as early as the second minute of the game.

Miya’s brace take him to tally of eight goals, he has scored for Konyaspor since joining them at the start of this season making him the Club’s Campaign leading top scorer.

It was his second brace in Konyaspor’s colours, the first one coming against Kasimpasa in a 4-1 victory way back in October last year.

Konyaspor returned to wining ways as they recovered from 3-1 loss to Gaziantep FK over the weekend that dragged them into relegation zone.

But with this win takes Konyaspor to 14th place on 14 team table log with two games left to play for to end 2019/20 Turkish Super league.

Their next comes on Saturday 18th July 2020 away to Trabzonspor before they conclude the season at home when they host Alanyaspor on 26th July 2020.
