Uganda Cranes’ poster boy, Miya Farouk Joined Konyaspor Football Club on 21st August 2019 from Croatian HNK Gorica on a three years contract.
Miya became the second Ugandan player to feature in the Turkish topflight league since legend Magid Musisi turning out for Bursaspor FC from 1994-97.
Since Miya left Vipers Sports Club in 2016 to join Belgium giants Standard Liege to start his professional football on a reportedly fee of €400,000 , this has been his best season as his four spell has seen him changing clubs and being sent out on loan.

Miya Farouk made his debut on 26 August 2019 against Galatasary as he came in for Forhat Oztorum in 64th minute as they shared spoils (1-1).
Four days later he scored his maiden goal for Turkish outfit in (2-2 )draw against Antalyaspor FC.
From then, Miya Farouk has gone ahead to play a total of 25 league games for Konyaspor FC managing eight (8) goals and 2 assists, recording 1555′ minutes play.
He played only one game in Turkish Cup bringing the total of 26 games he played last season.
This is his best season so far since starting professional football as he ended as Konyaspor Club leading top scorer for 2019/20 season.
Konyaspor FC clinched a 12th Super League finish with 36 points as they survived relegation on the second last game of season.
