Mbarara City FC confirms the release of Samari Farouk to Kigezi Homeboys on permanent basis.

Uganda Premier League and Western Uganda based oufit, Mbarara City Football Club have Officially released the midfielder Samari Farouk to FUFA Big League club, Kigezi Homeboys on permanent basis.

“We have released Samari Farouk to join Home Boyz FC on a permanent transfer.” Club posted on their social media handles.

“We thank your for memories with the team way back from regional league.”

Farouk played the entire of last season on loan at Kigezi Homeboys from Mbarara City FC.

Samari’s time with the ‘Ankole Lions stretches back when the team was still playing in FUFA Big League in 2017.

Kigezi Homeboys unveiled Mark Twinamasiko as Head Coach who is fresh from guiding Kitara FC to Uganda Premier League.

Mbarara City released their official squad ahead of 2020/21 season, that is slated to kick start on 3rd December 2020.
