Mahad Kayondo Scores First Goal In Romanian FA Cup

Earlier this month, Ugandan striker Mahadi Kayondo joined top Romania sports club called Asociatia Club Sportiv Ghiroda si Giarmada.

The 22nd-year-old football player joined the club on a two year –tenure.

The striker who has been previously known for his remarkable performance in the FUFA big league playing for Ndejje.

Yesterday, the young man happened to score his first goal at the club. He scored the goal as his team was battling with Club Sportiv Hunedoara at the CS Hunedoara stadium. The hosts of the day, CS Hunedoara succumbed to Asociatia Club sportive as they triumphed over in 4-1 victory in the Romania FA cup duel.

Kayondo’s goal came in at the 82nd minute as it was the 4th and last goal that sealed Asociatia Club Sportiv Ghiroda’s victory yesterday. This victory was very significant as it merited the Club’s progress to the next round.
