Mahad Yaya Kakooza rejoined Express Football Club on two years working contract from Proline Football Club were had featured for last season.
Mahad Yaya Kakooza while talking to club media, he did reveal his reasons behind returning to the club he last served for, the past three years.
“First of all the team is in my blood and my heart, I am an Express FC fan and feel happy to have returned and my father is Express FC fan.” Mahad Kakooza told club media.
Kakooza again hinted on his targets with the six-time league champions and what should be expected from him come next season.
“The targets are very many but first pray to God to give us a good season, but every as players, every player wants to win the trophy and that’s the priority target,” Kakooza noted.
“As a Midfielder, I have to create good chances that can win matches and also to personally add to the tally of goals that the team needs.” He added.
Kakooza Mahad became the eighth signing of Coach Wasswa Bossa as he continues to assemble his team for the upcoming season.
Uganda Premier League 2020/21 season is tentatively set to return into action in October 17th 2020 amidst the ban on imposed on sports activities in the country due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
