KCCA Football Club have confirmed the departure of defensive Midfielder, Lawrence Bukenya and will not play for Kasasiro boys anymore starting with next season.
Lawrence Bukenya was among several players that were promoted from KCCA FC junior team in 2016 and immediately entered into KCCA FC senior team.
He played for KCCA FC during their games at continental level that saw them tussle it out through to group stages of CAF confederation cup in 2017 and CAF Champions league group stages in 2018.
But due to stiff competition at the middle of the pack in KCCA FC team, Bukenya was ever limited to playing time and in good faith Mike Mutebi loaned him to newly promoted Wakiso Giants by then last year to continue gain more playing time.

Meanwhile at Wakiso Giants, Bukenya’s loan deal was marred with injuries and this forced him to miss a couple of games.
But it seems Wakiso Giants Football Club are ready to hand in the Midfielder a permanent deal.
At KCCA FC, Bukenya has won two Ugada Cups titles (2016/17, 2017/18) and two league titles (2016/17, 2018/19).
As it stands, KCCA FC have confirmed the departure of 11 players officially.
And these includes as follows;
Erisa Sekisambu, Sadam Juma, Jackson Nunda, Muzamir Mutyaba Mike Mutyaba, Eric Senjobe, Tom Ikara, Ibrahim Wammenah, James Begesa, Jamil Malyamungu and Bukenya Lawrence.
