After KCCA FC confirming the exit of Lawrence Bukenya over the weekend, this site reported the defensive holding Midfielder could join the Wakiso giants on a permanent deal.
It is now official he has put a pen to a paper on a three-year employment contract with the Purple sharks.
“We are delighted to confirm the signing of Lawrence Bukenya on a permanent deal from.” Club statement.
Bukenya feels at home after joining the club permanently and has thanked his former paymasters, KCCA FC.

“I enjoyed my time here last season and am glad the move has been made permanent. I feel at home here and want to archive a lot with this wonderful club at the moment. I thank KCCA for the time spent there and wish them all the best.” Bukenya told the club website.
His loan deal, saw him play 25 games in all competitions and registering one goal against MYDA FC in Uganda Cup game.
He won two cups and two league titles plus named Most Valuable player in Uganda cup 2017.
He joins Tom Masiko as the players who have confirmed their stay with Wakiso based club after the expiry of their loan deals.
Wakiso Giants have already signed Midfielder Ibrahim Kasule ‘Owen’, Pius Kagwa and defender Satuto Edward.
