Lady Doves FC among 9 clubs awaiting CAF Women Champions League zone Qualifiers Draws.

FUFA Women Super League defending Champions, Lady Doves FC among nine (9) women clubs eagerly waiting for the draws of the CAF Women Champions League zone Qualifiers ( Cecafa).

Auka Gacheo, Cecafa Executive Director confirmed that the draws will take place tomorrow 7th, July 2021 and will be conducted via Zoom in the afternoon.

Kenya were selected as the host country for the zone Qualifiers which will take place starting from 17th July to 1st August 2021 and the winner will automatically play in the final tournament of the inaugural CAF Women Champions League.

Winners of the six CAF Women Champions League Qualifier zones plus host country along side the club from the winners of previous Women African Cup of Nations in 2018 will grace the final tournament in Egypt.

The nine Clubs awaiting the draws tomorrow includes below;

Simba Queens (Tanzania), Lady Doves FC (Uganda), Commercial Bank Ethiopia (Ethiopia), PVP club (Burindi), FAD Club (Djbouti), Scandinavian W FC (Rwanda), Yei Join Stars (South Sudan) and New Generation FC (Zanzibar).
