Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia FC have confirmed the appointment of Portuguese trainer Carlos Mannuel Vaz Pinto as their new head coach.
“We are pleased to announce our head coach Carlos Mannuel Vaz Pinto from Portugal.” Club statement on official Facebook page.
The 46 year old Uefa pro and CAF A licensed Coach replaces Brazilian Roberto Oliveira who had no credentials to coach in CAF club competitions and later was relieved of the club duties.
Carlos Mannuel, last year was appointed as Ghana’s Hearts of Oak head coach and lasted on job for only seven days after his wish to club board to sack his assistant Edward Niiodoom was denied.
Previously he has served at Ethiopian outfit St George, C.R.D Libolo, Caala of Angola in the same role.
