The 21 year old Uganda Cranes left-back Kizza Mustafa who was officially unveiled by Montreal impact last Friday made his USA Major league Soccer (MSL) in a 2-3 win at Audi Field over DC United last night.
Montreal Impact currently stands in the 18th position after 23 games accumulating only 26 points. Mustafa came off the bench when his side was deep down in a barrel of defeat at 2-1 in the 71st minute.
Three minutes into the game, the former Tottenham Hotspurs and Kenya National team Midfielder Victor Wanyama made the scoreline even at 2-2 and later, an overlap by Mason Toye in the left wing before an inquisitive ball by Mustafa resulted into a winning goal in the 88th minute by the club’s top scorer Romell Quinto.
The 2-3 win over DC United was the Club’s first since 18th October in the USA Major League Soccer.
