Khalid Aucho dismissed from Cranes camp ahead of Burkina Faso game.

Uganda Cranes holding Midfielder, Khalid Aucho has been dismissed from the cranes camp ahead of the final two crucial games of 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers games against Burkina Faso and Malawi.

According to a statement released by FUFA, Khalid Aucho refused to use the means of transport sent to pick him from the Airport Entebbe and since arriving in the country he has not yet reported to the camp.

‘Uganda Cranes is preparing for two crucial AFCON Qualifiers against Burkina Faso and Malawi.’

‘Aucho refused to board the official means of transport organised to pick him from Entebbe International Airport to the team camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel-Kisasi and has not even reported to camp since his arrival in the country.’

‘The player’s club Misr El Makkasa and Egypt Football Association A have duly been informed about the decision and a return air ticket has been issued to him for his travel back to Egypt.’

Uganda Cranes will play Burkina Faso on 24th March and climax group B Qualifiers games with a trip to Malawi 5 days later.
