Harambee stars midfielder, Muguna Kenneth Mugambi joins the Tanzania Premier League outfit Azam FC on a two year contract as free agent.
The 25 year old midfielder joins the Ugandan duo of wing back Nicolas Wadada and goalie Mathias Kigonya at ice cream makers club.
Muguna joins Azam FC from Kenya Premier League club, Gor Mahia after completing his second stint of three year with them.
Muguna graduated from the Western Stima youth teams ranks before switching to play for Gor Mahia in 2017 and the following year moved to Albanian club FK Tiran were he lasted only 8 months before making return to K’ogalo.
Azam finished in 3rd position in the just concluded 2020/21 Vodacom Premier League campaign and will represent Tanzania in CAF Confederation Cup together with Biashara.
Muguna becomes the third signing already confirmed ahead of the new season and the other two includes Edward Manyama whom they signed from Ruvu Shooting plus Rodgers Kola from Zanaco of Zambia.
