KCCA FC signs Juma Balinya

Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club unveiled former Police Football Club and 2018/19, Uganda Premier League top scorer, Juma Balinya as their ninth signing ahead of the new season.

Balinya last played for Kenyan outfit  Gor Mahia FC before reaching on an agreement to terminate to their two-year contract due to salary arrears and false promises.

In his first interview with club TV which airs every Sunday at Next Media owned Sanyuka TV,  Juma Balinya did reveal his reasons why signed for KCCA FC, Competition in the team  and set his personal goals for next season with his new Club.

“I feel good joining KCCA FC because every player would wish to play for them, so I feel happy.” Juma Balinya told KCCA FC TV.

“As a player, I always look forward to playing good so am working hard to see the player that won the golden boot, I want to work hard for that again and I can achieve it here at KCCA FC because they have a very good team platform.” He said.

“One of the most thing that made me come here, KCCA FC is the most professional club in Uganda, so when I looked at that I still want to be professional player so I saw KCCA FC as a very big steppingstone achieve that, so I think it’s professionalism at KCCA FC that prompted me to come here.”

“I am ready for competition, because I know in football you can not move from one step to another, so I know there are so many good players but I look at myself as the best player. So I welcome the competition and if you want to be the best you have to work hard.”

“My goal is to be the top scorer again and if I achieve that even the club can benefit from my  goals and  wining the trophy with the club.”  He added.

To the fans.

“The fans should expect to see a creative and goal scoring Juma Balinya they know, I will work hard to make them happy.” He concluded.

Juma Balinya won the 2081/19 UPL golden boot with 19 goals and earned him a move to Tanzania giants Young Africans before Joining Gor Mahia FC.

He has previously featured for Vipers SC, A.S port of Djbouti, Lweza FC and Police FC.

Juma Balinya becomes the new acquisition to Mike Mutebi’s coauched side.

And the other eight ones includes; Charles Lwanga , Ashiraf Mugume, Stefano Mazengo, Brian Ahebwa, Denis Iguma, Bright Anukani, Samson Kigozi and newly promoted forward Dominic Ayella.
