Kawooya Andrew opens up why he chose to join KCCA FC.



KCCA FC yesterday’s night Show TV episode on Sanyuka did unveil two signings, Moses Kalanzi a left back and Andrew Kawooya a midfielder.

Andrew Kawooya joined KCCA FC from Vipers SC junior team and he is a senior five student at St Mary’s Kitende SS.

During his first interview at KCCA FC TV, 17 year old Midfielder reveal the reasons as to why he opted for KCCA FC.

“I am so happy for the opportunity to join KCCA FC because KCCA is the biggest team in Cecafa region, I like their style of play real play an exciting and attacking football of which it something that fits me.” Andrew Kawooya said.

“So it’s the biggest reason why I chose to develop my talent from here. He added.

“And happy to see that am going to work with top class coaches of which I have been with coach Magera [Jackson] at the National team U17 AFCON 2019, so am happy to see that am part of KCCA FC.”

“Am looking forward such that  to play a fantastic and historical club to win trophies and to make the make fans happy, looking forward to be among people will represent in Caf [CAF confederation cup] and be among people will be playing in the league.” He continued.

Kawooya argued upcoming talent to be more patient and hard-working for that the sky will be the limit. He has also promised a smiling face to the fans  and should expect  Andrew who is going to bring more creativity in the team.

On upcoming talents..” need to be hard working, patient and of course need to be Good fearing and above all they need to listen to the coaches because the sky is the limit.”

Kawooya Andrew his main attributes, he is more creative, good at dead balls and varsatile who can play as a goalkeeper.

He has previously played for Good News soccer academy in Bulenga, Stream land Soccer Academy, Lweza Junior team, Proline Soccer Academy and Vipers Junior team.

He was part of the Uganda cups  (U17 football team) that took part in Cecafa U17 tournament in 2018 in Burundi and 2019 AFCON U17 in Tanzania.
