Kampala Rockets and JT Lady Jaguars will seal Division One titles with respective wins on Friday at YMCA in Kampala.

The Rockets lead the series 2-1 after winning Friday’s game three 62-54.

Both finalists Rockets and Saints were promoted to National Basketball League, and the latter’s coach Daniel Juuko Najja says that more is still at stake.

“We want to make our fans happy by winning this championship for them. The boys know about this,” Najja stated

“We didn’t execute well and we rushed on offense but expect a better team on both ends of the court on Friday.”

Rezlife, buoyed by a vibrant crowd, out-rebounded Rockets 49-38 but were hard done by 24 turnovers against the Rockets’ 15.

In the Women’s division, JT Lady Jaguars lead the best-of-five finals series 2-0 having won 67-28 and 73-27 in games one and two in that order.

The star-studded JT side who are still unbeaten, have familiar names like Rhoda Naggita, Zainah Lokamweri, Sarah Ageno, Moreen Amoding among others.
