Joseph Ochaya commits future with TP Mazembe.

Uganda Cranes left back, Joseph Benson Ochaya has extended his contract with DR Congo giants Tout Puissant Mazembe and will be playing for them more two seasons.

“TPM is pleased to announce the extension of Joseph Benson Ochaya contract for two additional seasons until september.6 2022.” Club statement on their website.

Joseph Ochaya joined the Ravens in 2018 on initial 2 and half year working contract from Zambian outfit Lusaka Dynamos.

He has gone ahead to make 32 appearances for TP Mazembe both in the league and Continent tournaments, scoring twice and setting up four goals.

Joseph Ochaya was part of the Uganda Cranes squad that earned back to back AFCON final tournament in Gabon and Egypt in 2017,2019 respectively.

Before extending his stay he has been heavily linked to join two South African clubs, that’s Kaizer Chiefs, SuperSport United and had some offers from Maghreb countries but hit a dead end.

Joseph Ochaya has previously turned out KCCA FC with three stints, Navibank Sai Gon FC from Vietnam, Ghana’s Asante Kotoko and Lusaka Dynamos FC.
