After being out for two complete seasons due to the injury, Nsubuga Joseph and SC Villa have renewed their relationship for more two years.
The solid right back last featured for the 16 times record league Champions in the 2017/18 season.
And was among the four players that remained at the club in that 2017/18 squad after the Club was affected by the administration problems that saw their President by then Immanuel Ben resigning from his post which sparked exodus of several players.
“It has been four years since I arrived at the Villa park. I am proud to be here and continue my career at this great club.
I would like to thank the management of Sports Club Villa, my team mates and friends that have stood by me during my trying times of along injury and supported me.
I can not wait to get back into a game hearing the loyal fans of the club supports unceasingly.” Joseph Nsubuga said in the statement released by Club.
Nsubuga joined their Nsambya based side in 2016 from Bright Stars FC on initially a two years contract.
” Joseph is a great player, he deserves this contract, he has worked very hard to get out of that injury and you would see him grind it every day.” Coach Edward Kaziba said.
Joseph Nsubuga becomes the second player to extend his contract with SC Villa after their Goal Keeper custodian Said Ken doing so and the club is still convincing other senior players to extend their contracts as well, the likes of Amir Kakomo and David Owori
