Kenyan International defender, Joash Abong’o Onyango has officially joined the Tanzainia Giants and reigning Champions, Simba Sports Club on two years contract.
The 27 year old defender has been playing for Gor Mahia FC, a club he joined in 2017 from western stima.
He was part of the Harambee Stars squad that featured in the 2019 African Cup of Nations tournament that was held in Egypt.
Joash Onyango is set to form a formidable central backline with Ivorian defender Serge Pascal Wawa at Simba SC.
And Simba has been monitoring him since 2018.
At Simba SC, Onyango reunites with his former team mate player at Gor and country part, left winger Francis Kahata.
He becomes the third player to be unveiled at the Club, after Charles IIanfia and Morrison also joining the Tanzania outfit in the ongoing transfer window ahead preparation for next season.
Administrative wise, Simba SC have already lost their Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Senzo Mbatha to their arch rivals Young Africans.
Simba SC have swept the league titles for three consecutive times and won the Tanzania, set to represent the country in the upcoming CAF Champions league tournament, hoping to perform better than last season, were they got knocked out on the playoff round.
