Rwanda’s top striker Jacques Tuyisenge has decided to go back home, signing for Army Rwandese Patriotic Football Club (APR FC ) after his failed stint with Petro de Luanda of Angola.
Tuyisenge has signed a two-year contract with the Army-sponsored club and will play for them until June 2022.
Last year Tuyisenge quit the Kenya Premier League outfit, Gor Mahia to pursue green pastures elsewhere in Angola but his stay with Petro was not Successful, just a short period, he announced that he will not be continuing them in August and since then he became a free agent.
Several Clubs have been running after his signature, the likes of Young Africans FC, Zesco United of Zambia and Got Mahia.
Tuyisenge has previously played for Kiyovu, FC, Etincelles and Police back home in Rwanda.
APR is the 2019/20 Rwanda Premier League champions after Ferwafa, a Football governing body decided to end the season prematurely due to the Covid-19 pandemic and they set to represent Rwanda in the 2020/21 CAF Champions League.
