Can the Italians bookend it with a victory, or is football truly coming home? Read on for our free betting tips and predictions for this massive game.

Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Italy have scored in all but one of their games at the Euros, as have England. The Three Lions conceded for the first time in the tournament last time out but they showed a real attacking intent in that win over Denmark. Both games in the semi-finals saw both teams score.

Raheem Sterling 2+ shots on target

Reason for tip

Sterling has scored 15 goals in his last 22 for England and he’s become a real attacking force for Southgate’s England. The Man City winger has had at least two shots on target in three of his last four games for his country.

Harry Maguire to be booked

Reason for tip

Maguire has been booked in six of his last 11 matches and he’s picked up two yellows in his last three games for England. The defender’s physicality is a concern when attacking set pieces as referees have been clamping down on tussles in the box. As a result, we’re backing a booking for Maguire.

Raheem Sterling To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Raheem Sterling was denied his fourth goal of the tournament against Denmark thanks to Simon Kjaer, who knocked the ball into his own net before the City winger could convert. It’s been a brilliant summer for Sterling, who is showing his importance to this team like never before.

Southgate has made Sterling a key man in this side, as shown by the fact that he played 120 minutes in the semi-final while substitute Jack Grealish was taken off in extra time.

Sterling is a real goal threat for the Three Lions and he comes into this game having had at least two shots on target in three of his last four games at the tournament. Sterling has three goals in six games at the Euros and 15 in his last 22 games for England, so we’re backing him to score in the final.
