Left back, Ismael Kawawulo has bided farewell to his bosses, team mates and fans of Busoga United Football Club as he confirms departure from the Jinja Uganda Premier League based outfit.
Kawawulo has used his Facebook page to relay his farewell message to the Club he joined in 2017 under Coach Charles Ayiekoh.
“Today I bid farewell to the club Busoga United FC which has natured me in my career for the past seasons, ” Kawawulo wrote on his Facebook page before adding.
“The club gave me a chance to don the wonderful jersey and I represented with pride and always gave in 100% whenever I was selected and feel really proud to have shared my talent with the club.” He added.
Former MUBS and Nyamityobora FC left back has thanked the club management, technical team and team mates.
“To the management, technical team and team mates thanks for endless support.” He said.
Kawawulo has not forget to thank the 12th player ( Busoga United fans).
“To the brave fans thank a lot for the courage and cheers you always made the atmosphere terrific. To the wonderful moments we shared out the togetherness.”
” I leave the club with sweet memories and I will always be part of family in stands as a fan to the lads.”
The 26 year old full back has promised his well wishers and fans to tell them his next destination.
” To my dear fans, soon you will know our next destination Inshallah.” He concluded.
Kawawulo was part of the squad that guided the team to their best league Finnish (4th) last season and it’s the biggest archievement at the club.
Busoga United has already found Kawawulo’s replacement and it’s none than South Sudan International player Julius Debbo who extended his contract.
