International Friendlies: Kenya, Algeria, Mali, Morocco all register wins.

In FIFA gazetted international break were most of the top leagues in the whole world are on hold to give their respective countries to prepare themselves for upcoming games international competition. Many African countries did test themselves ahead of the 2022 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers next month.

Kenya 2-1 Zambia.

Kenya outwitted Zambia to hand Micho Milutin first loss as head coach of Chipolopolo since his appointment in February 2020.

Cliff Nyakenya goal and Tandi Mwape’s own goal was enough to hand Kenya victory. Emmanuel Chabwa got the consolation goal lately for Zambia.

Mali 3-0 Ghana

Hamni Traore, El Bilal Toure and Amadou were on target as Mali whitewashed Black Stars of Ghana in a friendly game played in Antalya- Turkey. New Black Stars head coach, CK Akonnor was handed defeat on his first game in charge.

Morocco 3 – 1 Senegal

Selim Amallah, Youseef En Nsyri and Youssef El Arabi goals were enough to down Terenga Lions of Senegal with Ismaila Sarr pulling one back.

Nigeria 0 – 1 Algeria

Ramy Bensebaini’s strike was enough to stretch Algeria’s unbeaten run to 19 games since testing defeat against Benin in 2018. Nigeria hoped to get a revenge for 2019 African Cup Nations cup semi final exit at hands of Algeria.
