South Africa born Coach, Pitso Mossimane now the head coach of Egyptian club Al Ahly has come out to reveal the end result of his job if he doesn’t win the CAF Championships League or Egyptian Premier League.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns gaffer has said that if you don’t win any of the above mentioned titles, you will be on risk of the losing your job.
Mossimane joined the Red devils last year in October and guided the club to their record 9th CAF Champions League title and they already at final of this season 2020/21, hopping to defend the title at expense of Kaizer Chiefs.
The final will take place at Stade Mohammed V on the weekend of 17th July 2021.
Al Ahly are 16 points below the archi rivals Zamalek (61) on the league table with 6 games in hand due to their engagement Champions League.
“Here [at Al Ahly] if you don’t win the Champions League and you don’t win the league might as well try and look [else where].” Pitso Mossimane told Sowetan
“So that’s why I am here, I am on the edge. I am done with comfort zone.
“Welcome to the real world! I faced that in SA also in terms of the league because I think when you don’t win the league at my former employers (Sundowns) you might face the sack, let’s be honest.
