Venue: St Mary’s stadium.

Today 12th November 2020, Uganda Cranes will be hosting South Sudan in the African Cup of Nations Qualifiers in group B match day three before they lock horns again on 16th November 2020 for a reverse fixture.

Uganda Cranes will be missing some of their key players, that played the last game against Flames of Malawi at Namboole stadium last year due to injuries.

Juuko Murushid and Bevis Mugabi started the Malawi game and won’t take part in South Sudan encounter due lack of game time and injury respectively. has taken a clearly look into how Irish man Johnathan Mcknistry could line up his eleven troops against Bright Stars with the 24 players at his disposal.

With no doubt, Denis Onyango who doubles as a captain and Goalkeeper is expected to start in between the goal posts ahead of Salim Jamal Magoola and KCCA FC Goalkeeper Lukwago Charles.

Then, in backline of four, you expect Nicolas Wadada to start at the right back in absence of Bevis Mugabi and due to his fine form he has been having with Azam FC, and at the center back you expect Mukiibi Ronald and Timothy Denis to form good partnership with Joseph Ochaya taking up the left fullback.

Midfield, Mcknistry could hope to maintain Khalid Aucho, Mike Azira and Farouk Miya.

Forwards, in the front three that started Malawi game you expect Bayo Fahad to drop at the bench and Derrick Nsibambi to take up his slot to the lead the line because of the game time he has been having at Smouha SC with Emmanuel Okwi and Luwaga Kizito supporting him on wings, left and right respectively.
