Gor Mahia part ways with Portuguese Coach.

Kenya Premier League giants, Gor Mahia have parted ways with Portuguese born trained coach, Mannuel Vaz Pinto on mutual consent.

” Coach Manuel Vaz Pinto has parted ways with the club on mutual consent, We appreciate your work and wish you all the best Pinto.” Club statement on their social media platforms.

Mannuel Vaz Pinto joined Gor Mahia early this year 2021 in month of January replacing Brazilian Coach Roberto Oliveira who left the club with issues surrounding his papers.

Vaz Pinto has left the club to go and attend to his family in Portugal, this comes days after guiding Gor Mahia to glory of their 9th Betway Shield Cup won at the expense of archi rivals AFC Leopards on penalty shootouts (4-1).

Vaz Pinto’s last game was a 2-1 loss at hands of BetKing Premier League table leaders Tusker FC on Thursday.

He leaves Gor Mahia FC in 4th position with 39 points garnered from 23 league games.

Gor Mahia FC will now be under the club legend Sammy Omollo on interim basis.

Vaz Pinto is linked with a move Portuguese division two club CD Nacional.
