Kenya Premier League giants, Gor Mahia Football have parted ways with their head coach, Andreas Spiers.
The Germany born coach joined K’ogalo in February, 2022 on a short term contract of six months.
He replaced Mark Harrison in the same role aftet being shown exit due to poor results.
“We can confirm that we have mutually parted ways with head coach Andreas Spiers. His contract ended and we are now in the market for a new coach. We wish him well.” Club statement
Spiers manged to guide Gor Mahia to a 3rd place finish last season with 55 points.
He led the team to a Madaraka Day Cup triumph which they earned aftet beating AFC Leopards on penalty shoot outs but this couldn’t save his job.
