Kampala Queens ran riot against new comers, Asubo Gafford Ladies Football Club putting five (5) goals past them without responding as they do open the 2022/23 season on high at IUIU Kaboja grounds in Kampala.
New signing, Sumaya Komuntale opened the scoring for the Queens as early as 7th minute before Shamira Nalugya, Naziri Resty, Margret Kuhinira and Mutuzo each adding one to make it 5 – 0 at final whistle.
Kampala Queens were runners to She Corporate for 2021/22 season and lost the Championship on goal difference and they have been busy in the ongoing transfer window and have recruited many players adding to their already rich squad.
Kampala Queens will travel to play She Corporate in their next game of the season on 25th September, 2022.
