FUFA suspends New SC Villa CEO- Brenda Nambalirwa.

Federation of Ugandan football Association (FUFA) through it’s organ, FUFA ethical disciplinary Committee have suspended the newly appointed Sports Club Villa Chief Executive Officer, Brenda Nambalirwa Kawuma for taking matters of football to ordinary courts.

“FUFA ethical disciplinary comiCommi have asked Ms. Nambalirwa Brenda Kawuma to submit a written statement by 11th October 2021 for contravening FUFA, CAF and FIFA football rules and regulations.” Reads part of statement released by Federation.

It should be recalled that Ms. Nambalirwa was the lady behind the failed SC Villa elections that were set to take place on 28th August 2021 after attaining a court injunction to stop the elections process a day before the elections.

FUFA has suspended Ms. Nambalirwa from all related football activities until the case is concluded.

“In context of the above, the Ethical disciplinary Committee further instructed Ms. Nambalirwa Brenda Kawuma to stop taking part in all football related activities nationally until her disciplinary case is concluded.”

Last week, Villa interim committee Nambalirwa Brenda Kawuma was appointed a new SC Villa CEO replacing Shauwn Mubiru but this raised alot of questions among the blue and white faithfuls.
