The FUFA 27th Executive Committee Meeting that sat on 31st August, 2022 made a decision that Proline FC would play their upcoming season in Buganda Regional league despite being a Kampala based club.
The federation had earlier advised Proline FC to apply to play in Kampala regional league for the 2023/24 season.
The Fufa’s stand on the matter raised alot of complain from all football circles and this has forced Fufa Executive to revoke its decision on Proline FC playing in Buganda and now they will play in Kampala regional league according to the statement released.
“FUFA Executive Committee has reconsidered Proline FC’s initial request to play in the Kampala Regional League. Initially the 27th FUFA Exco had taken a decision for Proline FC to play in the Buganda Regional league in the 2022/23 season.
Proline FC will now play in the Kampala Regional League for 2022/23 season.” Reads Fufa statement.
