*Bugisu Province 1 – 0 Lango Province
Bugisu Province defeated Lango Province (1-0) on the evening of Saturday, 24th September, 2022 at fully packed Mbale Municipal stadium.
Kataka FC’s Raymond Derrick Onyai scored the only important goal that separated the two sides.
Bugisu carry a 1-0 lead ahead of return leg which will be played on 16th October, 2022 at Akii Bua stadium.
Lango Province conceded their first goal in this year’s edition.
Tear gas was fired at the final whistle to dispatch the Lango fans who had found their way onto the field of play to intervine in heated scuffle between Paul Musamali of Bugisu and Joackim Ojera of Lango.
The winner on aggregate will qualify to semi finals of 3rd edition of FUFA Drum tournament.
Fufa drum continues today Sunday, as Teso Province host Tooro Province.
