FUFA cancels out Uganda Cranes Jordan camp.

FUFA have cancelled out the Uganda Cranes one week  camp which was slated to take place in Jordan from 21st August to 26th in preparation for the National team engagement in 2022 Qatar FIFA world Cup Qualifiers which kick start early next month.

Uganda Cranes was supposed to play two international friendlie with Syria two times before flying out for the final friendly game against Ethiopia in Bahir Dar.

“The Uganda Cranes earlier scheduled team camp week in Jordan (21st-26th August) has been cancelled.” FUFA statement.

“However, efforts are being made by the Federation to find an alternative friendly match within that period, before facing Ethiopia in the last build up on Sunday 29th August in the Ethiopian city of Bahir Dar.”

Uganda Cranes team is camping in paradise Hotel.

Uganda is in group E of the FIFA world Cup Qualifiers alongside Mali, Kenya and Rwanda.

Uganda’s first test match will be up against Kenya on 2nd September 2021 before hosting Mali at St Mary’s Stadium on 6th September on the match day two.
