Francis Azolibe: City Oilers Power Forward Moves To Rwanda

Nigerian Power Forward Francis Azolibe has left City Oilers.

The 24-year old has been unveiled by Rwandan newcomers Kigali Titans who’s league will tip off on January 13.

Azolibe recently helped Oilers overcome Nam Blazers in Best of Seven finals series for their eighth straight NBL title.

He had returned to Oilers last season and featured for the side starting in the second round after late registration.

This is the second time Azolibe leaves City Oilers having exited in 2020 to join Nam Blazers.

His first spell at Oilers, where he won the seventh title, was ended with a career threatening knee injury.

The National Basketball League will start on March 10, awaiting release of Fixtures.
