Former KCC FC club patron, Al Hajjji Nasser Ntege passed away

Yes, the former Kampala City Council Football club now (KCCA FC) club patron, Al Hajjji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala has passed on at wee hour mornings of Saturday 26 September 2020 at International Hospital Kampala (IHK).

On 7th September 2020, Al Nasser Ntege fell in his home in munyonyo, he was rushed to IHK hospital in Muyenga with Abdominal complications. At IHK he was diagnosed with intestinal Intussusception a condition in which one segment of intestine inverts which another, causing an intestinal blockage  He was subjected to an emergency surgery which was successful performed by Dr Kiyingi. But did not recover well so he put on supported machines before pronouncing him dead.

Al Nasser Ntege Ssebagala has  been a Business man and politician. In 2006 he was an independent presidential aspirant before throwing in towel to contest for Kampala mayorship seat, which he successful won.

Becoming the KCC FC club patron and under his reign the club managed to some success.

KCC FC won their eighth (8) Super league title after 11 years of wait, it’s from his regime that players were put salary payroll depending on their contribution on the team.

KCC FC almost qualified to the CAF Champions league group stages in 2009 before being stopped at the second round stage.

AL Nasser Ntege Ssebagala dies at the age of 72.
