FIFA WCQ: Fahad Bayo’s lone strike against Rwanda, earns Cranes maiden win.

Former Vipers SC and Proline FC talisman, Fahad Bayo scored the only important goal as Uganda Cranes picked a vital win away to Rwanda in the game that was played under the floodlights of Nyamirambo stadium.

Uganda Cranes’ goal came in 41st minute thanks to Isaac Muleme’s well taken free kick that was laid into the box and poorly headed by Amavubi stars defenders and ball found Bobosi Byaruhanga on the far right with a rebound that found Bayo to put the ball at the back of the net.

The second half saw more of less actions and few chances were created and one of them, Steven Mukwala missing two headers to extend Uganda’s lead.

Uganda got their first win in 2022 Qatar FIFA world Cup Qualifiers after drawing the first two games of ground E against Kenya and Mali.

As well serbia coach Micho registered his first on his second return as Uganda Cranes coach against his former pay masters.

Uganda, temporary go on top of group E with 5 points as they wait the result from Kenya and Mali game which will be played later on in the night.
