Express Football Club have named Eric Ndifuna as club’s assistant coach to coach James Odoch.
Ndifuna has worked with several Uganda Premier League clubs and replaces Odoch in the position because, Odoch was elevated to head coach role.
Wasswa Bossa was relieved off duties midway of last season and Odoch was appointed as intrim manager until the end of season.
Ndifuna is excited about his new role at the seven times ugUgan Premier League champions.
“I am happy that I have joined this Great team with such a huge history. It’s going to be a great development to my coaching career. As the technical team, we have set targets to see the club move forward and not only to perform but also to compete. We are giving too much focus onto the young generation as we look forward to build a strong side that will entertain, win and work around the club set goals and objectives.” Ndifuna told club website.
He previously worked with UTODA (2011/12) , Bazar S.C (2013/14) , regional side City Lads (2014/16) , O.C Bukavu Dawa , Simba FC , Tooro United (2018 -2020) and Assistant Coach at Maroons FC (2021).Ndifuna comes with experience to the red eagles technical bench the next 2022/23 season.
