Express Football Club forward, Eric Kambale has targeted double digits goals as the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League season draws closer.
Kambale joined the Six times league champions in 2018/19 and had good performance in his maiden season with the Red Eagles and mostly remembered in a 3-2 remarkable victory over KCCA FC in that season appearing on scoresheet with a good display on wet Wankulukuku ground.
Last season, he only featured in few of games after going awol the whole first round of the league and only managed a single goal in Uganda Cup in 3–3 draw with Relegated Maroons before losing in penalties.
“I am happy that I’ve managed to get my groove back using the technical team’s training schedule, am so pumped up for next season and the target is to help the club win some silverware,” Kambale told club website.
“Personally, I am going to strive to hit double digits which I think will help me be top scorer” He concluded.
2020/21 season starts on 20th November 2020 with fixtures expected to be released soon as they wait for the third team to complete the trio who get promoted to top-flight league.
Ndejje University, Kataka FC,Kitara FC and Kiboga Young/Mbale Heroes are vying for the last spot with playoffs slated to take place over the weekend to decide who joins MYDA FC and UPDF FC who sportingly earned their promotion to UPL.
