Eastern Region Football association (ERFA) have zeroed on Iganga Ssaza ground as the venue that will host the Regional playoff to decide who will qualify from the region to play in FUFA big league next season.
On two occasions, the ERFA had chosen two grounds that is Bugembe Stadium and Njeru Technical Center as the venue to host the final but Fufa has rejected citing that they are not considered as neutral grounds for both teams who are the finals.
And Football governing body in the country FUFA through their competitions director Hajjati Aisha Nalule advised them to select a ground which is not Jinja, Mbale and other Seven (7) Regions.
Mbale Heroes were relegated from FUFA big league to Regional league and a win in the final will see them back in the second tier league.

Mbale Heroes topped Bukedi group and Jinja North United were winners of Nile group.
So far Soroti City FC and Adjumani are the only teams that have earned their place in FUFA big league next season after winning their Region playoff, North East and West Nile respectively .
